Any driver can drive, they've passed the test!
Historically an employer would say that an individual having a driving licence is enough to allow them to drive for work. Sadly years of evidence shows that this is not the case and that an employer must help the employee that drives for work to reduce the risk of skill fade.
While the minimum requirement is an assessment which will highlight the risk faced by the driver. How can we prove that we have done enough to eliminate the risk should a driver get it wrong while driving for work. Further training is the ideal solution as it will not only make sure a driving assessment has taken place, but also allow coaching to take place to illuminate a drivers risk.
Further to the training a report will be drafted to show agreed goals and ways forward due to effects that took place during the training.
